The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services for the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it really is alarmed with regards to the high variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to read more some significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The company point created for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for that office to here attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to empower the servicing of all buyers and boost access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
