SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.

SASSA are going to be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it is actually alarmed with regards to the higher amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The company stage made for intervention experiences a large inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a website service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to help the servicing of all customers and boost use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
