The education and learning landscape is evolving, and False Bay TVET College is at the forefront, recognizing that the traditional school model isn't the only successful means of learning. False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are provided at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Requirements

These courses get started at NCV level 2 plus the minimum necessity would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Mathematics.

The moment the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they would then have attained a grade 10 certification. NCV Level three would be grade 11 and NCV Level 4 is grade 12.

NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, remaining comparable to a Countrywide Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade nine is on NQF level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV stage two and that is equivalent to an NQF level two.

On which type of scholars click here are suited for these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that conventional schooling just isn't necessarily the only real strategy for getting an artisan or becoming competent so if a student knows from an early age what their interests are, the NCV programme is really perfectly suited to that student.
